If you have ever thought about joining the Dillingham Chamber of Commerce now is the time!

The Dillingham Chamber of Commerce is really excited about 2009! This year we are active in the State Chamber of Commerce which helps provide the Dillingham community and businesses a voice in Juneau.

The Dillingham Chamber of Commerce is also actively participating in Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference (SWAMC) by attending the 2010 Southwest Alaska Economic Summit exploring some of the issues and challenges that are shaping our region, communities and businesses.

We have also started working with Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) to network with other travel related businesses to better promote our area.

We have reserved two booths at the 2010 Sportsman Show held every year in April at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage that promotes Alaska both to Alaskan’s as well as representatives from the lower 48. Be sure to send us your literature for us to distribute. Or if you are interested in participating at the booth by helping us promote the area as a member, you are welcome to join us at the show. Just contact the Chamber of Commerce and let us know.

The Dillingham Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Meeting will be held in January, at which time we will be electing new Board of Directors. While some of our incumbents’ will run for reelection, others are ready to retire so we are looking for some new faces to help diversify our Board to better represent our membership.
